VISUALIZING ARCHITECTURE
Visualizing identifies the process of 'rendering', that is, of generating an image starting from a mathematical description of a three-dimensional scene; the realized geometric model is covered with colors completely equal to the real materials (texture) and illuminated by light sources that reproduce natural or artificial ones.
In case the parameters are set to imitate those present in nature (actual sunlight), photographic textures, real perspective shots, etc. then the rendering can be defined as photorealistic.
Architectural rendering is the creation of two-dimensional images or animations that show the characteristics of proposed design solutions; allows the designer to create two-dimensional animations or images with the main objective to show all attributes that should be included in the final project.
Architectural rendering is a necessary tool for the communication between designer and customer and is experiencing an important growth, thanks to the remarkable developments of technology.
