This project is a renovation of an old apartment in Barcelona. 

As a classic old residential building in Barcelona, the main problem is the absence of natural light coming from the small dimension of the patio.

The best way to overcome this problem is to use light colors that reflect up to 90% of natural light. By doing so, you have more natural light with a consequent saving of electricity. Lighting design project uses LED technology, and can save up to 80% of electricity, and be sustainable.

By placing a tall mirror in the entrance, we created a wide open area effect as you can see in the picture.

The combination of modern wood elements like the parquet and more traditional historical material like Catalan ceramic in the lunch room, creates a well balanced and elegant design.
