ANDREA LOMBARDO

Andrea Lombardo is an architect specialized in sustainable solutions, with international professional experience in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Japan.
He holds a Master in Advanced Studies in Architecture from UPC-ETSAB in Barcelona, focused on innovative architectural technologies (new materials, nanotechnologies, lighting design, smart buildings, and temporary housing). He also studied Architecture for Sustainable Design at the Polytechnic University of Turin, including an exchange program at HafenCity University in Hamburg, concentrating on resource efficiency, the post-oil city, and next-generation buildings.
His academic path was further enriched by several international workshops in Asia and Europe, centered on smart cities, urban design, and new technologies.
Since 2015, he has developed a university teaching career, first as an Adjunct Professor in Taiwan in a studio dedicated to Sustainable Design, and later as an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where he taught Energy Transition, Post-Carbon Architecture, and Urban Strategies addressing climate change.
After various international collaborations on residential, urban, educational, and luxury retail projects, in 2025 he founded his own architecture studio, specializing in sustainable solutions and interior design.
